DO NOT USE A1 TOW!!!!!
They were a big hassle, inadequate communication, annoyed my sellers by changing pick up times more than once.... the guys in the truck were clearly lost in AKL and more than a tad useless.
Items arrived in Wgtn on Monday, during the day when all the blokes in the household were out working. Immediately transporters complained items too heavy - access too difficult - needed more money for more people to come and help.
I asked them to leave the items by the letterbox - down a path 5 metres from the truck - No this was too hard, not possible, pay more money, or they could dump items on the street.
Paid more money, 4 fairly useless blokes scrambled and squealed in a pathetic manner with inadequate skills to manipulate items.
If they had delivered on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday all the blokes from our household would have moved the items in.
Delivering without notice created a situation where we forced to pay extra money and put up with pathetic behaviour which was clearly aimed to money gouge.
Once items were in the house and I thought I'd seen the back of them, but no - they demanded payment immediately in cash, stood over me inside my hallway - as a woman I found them rude and aggressive, using the fact no blokes were at home to intimidate me.
I paid bill once they left, then next day Avneet calling and texting incessantly demanding payment.
Again I had to waste time when I got home from work to "prove" payment had been made....fffs
Excellent communication when they want $.
Keep away unless you want to waste time on these fools.

Firstly, regarding communication, we were punctual, but coordinating with your pickup times was challenging because they were all far apart and had different schedules, and there were always excuses every time we called.
We did advise you that as soon as we arrived in Wellington, we would call you, and we did.
You called us and I said the boys would be there within an hour, and they were.
Coming back to the topic of the load, incorrect information was given. The load was very heavy and required three to four people to load and unload. Not all correct information was provided, such as narrow steps and slippery pathways.
We did our best during the pickup, but dropping off was risky, and we did ask and advise that we needed more manpower.
We help our customers and go out of our way, but we do not risk the safety of our team.
Please think twice for next time and do provide full and clear instructions and information for all of us; this will help.
I will never say, as you mentioned, that I don't take your jobs.
As we are all human, we all have ups and downs, and we should work together instead of judging and pulling each other down. Let's help each other to grow.
