Swift NZ Movers

Very efficient and great communication, but did find some significant scrapes on my larger pieces after the movers had left.

I could not be happier with the service from this company. It felt like a risk engaging them to deliver my piano as they had fewer reviews than others but out of the three moving companies that delivered goods for me in January. (just moved countries) they were easily the best.

Highlights for me were:

- Consistently prompt, professional and friendly communication.

- I asked for the move to happen at a specific date and time, and it did. The movers were on time and ready to go, no excuses needed.

- They took great care of the piano, including when I wasn't there to see - I looked in the truck when it arrived and it was fully wrapped in blankets before being tied down.

I'll never move with anyone else.

Really good movers!

Sadly not a great experience for us with Swift Movers.
We had a 4 bedroom house to move. I reached out to Swift movers (before confirming) to check how many movers would do it. They assured me it was 3. On the day only 2 could make it (one had sore legs) and it was such a big job for 2 people. They weren’t careful with our furniture and when they dropped a shelving unit and pieces came off he said ‘oh well’.
In the end they didn’t even move everything and we had to finish it. They put the furniture in the house and boxes into the garage. They said they would sort the boxes into rooms- but they didn’t and we found heavy boxes on top of clearly marked fragile boxes.

Maybe this company can handle small moves, but certainly not a big one in our experience.

The truck was too small and no solutions were offered for the remaining items.
The information I submitted was for a 2 bedroom house, not apartment.

They were very supportive of our changes (our boxes count went double of planned) and also handled our goods with care. I would highly recommend them for the move.

Movers were professional, provided clear and timely communication, and the guys arrived on time for collection. They wrapped and protected my fragile cargo which arrived at its destination in good condition.
