NZ Furniture Mover

We had requested 3 people to help with the move and only 2 turned up. We ended up helping them at both ends of the move. The guys helping with our move were ok but dealing with the manager was extremely frustrating. I would not recommend them and will not be using them again.

I confirmed my booking a few days prior to my move and they confirmed the time booked. Then at 9am on the morning of the move they phoned to ask to push it out by 1.5 hours which I said I couldn't. They then still turned up nearly an hour late! They left the washing machine at the previous house so I had to go back after hours and arrange for this to be moved. They didn't load the items/furniture very quickly into the truck and I felt this made us run quite late with us still unpacking at 7pm. Quite disappointed.

Really amazing service - went above and beyond with the care of our belongings and even asked someone else to come and help without charging us extra.

They also helped us move our fridge and washing machine that was delivered in the middle of the garage.

It was the most effortless move ever and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Super-nice, easy going movers

Gill was great at communicating to start with, and we agreed on a set price but when it came to the actually delivery communication lacked, the truck took an hour to get from pick to drop off when it should have only take 20-30mins depending on traffic and then they upped the final charge.

Really easy to deal with. Punctual and looked after my item.

Job was done quickly and safely.

While perfectly pleasant and a great price, communication wasn't strong and unfortunately the couch has left a dent in the wall. While I accept that mistakes happen an apology would have been appreciated. However in saying that, I would give an overall rating of "okay"

Very impressed - the job was a lot harder than initially expected as the doors needed to be removed from the fridge for it to fit through the front door, they did this very efficiently and great communication throughout. Highly recommend.
