I'm hesitant to write a review because the service was so hit and miss. Pick up was arranged for Sunday 29th Dec and I understand it's a crazy time of year but was told it would be around 1pm. They turned up at 10pm. They text at 3pm on the day to say they were held up and would be there between 8-9pm, then tx at 9pm to say it was another hour away. All good, stuff happens, it's a crazy time of year no problem.
Drop off addresses was always flexible because I may have found permanent accommodation before delivery. On the 6th Jan I advised the new delivery address. No problem they advised they could deliver on the 13th. Again all good no problem. Was then asked if I could change it to the 18th. Again no problem I'm happy to be flexible. On the 17th I'm advised they will be there that night so I confirmed they had the updated address sent via tx - was advised they had it. Got a call on the 17th at 750pm to say they were 15 mins away. 820pm i called asking where they were and was told it would be another 10mins. They called advising they had arrived - at the original address not the new address. I let them know there had been a change of address, some issues cropped up, got it sorted, all good my stuff is delivered to the correct address at 940pm. Delivery driver spoke very little English and wanted to know if I lived alone (not sure why that was important to him but made me slightly uncomfortable given I'm female, live in the country and it's now late at night). Started unpacking this morning to find one of my Suitcases seems to have been left outside in the rain or something as everything in it is saturated. Mostly clothing, no big deal accidents happen it can be washed. But also a brand new unopened gift box from Lush which has now essentially melted through my clothes (still waiting to see if the stains come out). No communication that there had been an incident with the suitcase but given how wet it was inside its impossible to think that they wouldn't have known.

I tend to be pretty easy going and any of these in isolation I would just write off as stuff happens sometimes. But from start to finish it just seems to have been one issue after another.

Load Carrier were helpful and efficient moving my items from Christchurch to Wellington, and even completed the delivery a day earlier than projected.
Some items were slightly scuffed but with protective coverings everything was fine, and understandable given the journey.

Really impressed. Almost delivered too quickly! And very careful with the items. Highly recommend. Thanks guys!

My desktops were carelessly left on "another truck" and were delivered about 8 days later. During that time, my family could only eat standing in the kitchen or around the chairs. The guy assisting the driver was very nice and kind, though.
